Zeitgeist.
noun. The defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time.  “…the story captured the zeitgeist of the late 1960s.” What a fascinating word! I will have to use this at some point in an academic paper, if I ever get to write one after university is completed!

Links for a lost project.
These are the links which I found to influence, inspire and backup a project idea. I am no longer going to peruse this project for the university assignment, but will most certainly continue as a personal exploration. The Atmosphere of Absence Architecture of Absence (Aperture) Black Rock

On the aesthetics of destruction. →
Interesting set of illustrations in a blueprint style each created with a specific stereotype in mind. Fascinating to think about the ‘what if’ say the hippies culture had continued and evolved into a modern day society, with there own buildings and city’s. What would there design of such environments look like? I would imagine very close to this.

Toronto encounters
There are many strange and crazy people to be encountered in the city. Many of them are paradoxes, like Backwards Walking Man - he seems only to be able to walk backwards, occasionally turning to look where he is going. There is JESUS!! man, who holds a bible with his Cain attached under his belt and proceeds to literally explode with yelling passages like “BELIEVE IN THE LORD!!!”...

Piercing
So as one of my final acts of being a teenager I made the commitment to get an piercing - specifically my left eyebrow pierced. I have been drawn to getting it pierced for a quite long time, but the reasoning behind this is kinda still a mystery to even myself. The ‘freedom’ that being away from everything in Australia has provided is what ultimately let me feel okay with expressing...

Freelensing →
Freelensing is in a way tilt-shift photography, but instead of having an expensive lens you simply detach the lens from the camera body and angle it manually. It creates effects which are quite similar to those made by the LensBaby series of lens, but doing it this way has its advantages. Firstly your not limited to a single lens - you can use any one of your lenses. And by having the lens further...

Gallery submission success!
The above grid created for my first project in my Photography Production class was accsepted into the I•M•A Gallery “Full Frame” exhibition & auction! This has made me rather excited! Not only do I have some work in an exhibition (which will look great on a resume), but also I have a chance to make some money on my photography, which is something which I have not done as a...

SNOW!!
IT WAS JUST SNOWING OUTSIDE!!! As can be seen, I was and still currently am very excited about this fact! It was amazing! First off (not believing it was actually snowing) I headed to the level 5 roof deck as its close and I was still not very awake from the partings which occurred as part of Halloween the previous night. It was raining…but I noticed it was odd rain. The drops were...
